Discover The Macallan TIME : SPACE Sherry Cask, a remarkable 20-year-old single malt Scotch whisky connecting the craftsmanship of Speyside with the sherry-making heritage of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
The third release in the TIME : SPACE Collection, this expression matured in sherry-seasoned oak before a further marrying period in a selection of the first 200 casks seasoned with Valdespino sherry at The Macallan’s bodega. Bottled at 44.8% ABV, it brings together two decades of maturation and a distinctive new chapter in The Macallan’s sherry cask story.
Expect aromas of raisins, figs and dates, accompanied by almond sweetness, toffee, chocolate and warming spices. The palate reveals dried apricots, ginger cake, rich toffee and chocolate-covered cherries, leading to a lingering finish of oak, gentle spice and espresso.
Presented in the collection’s striking circular vessel, with a presentation box inspired by Palomino grapes and the golden sunshine of Andalusia, this is a memorable addition to any whisky collection.
