Discover Highland Park Ice Edition, an extraordinary 17-year-old Island single malt Scotch whisky inspired by the frozen realms of Norse mythology and the legendary Viking heritage of Scotland’s Orkney Islands.
Released in 2016, this prestigious limited edition celebrates the mythical realm of Niflheim, the icy kingdom of the Frost Giants, and represents the first expression in Highland Park’s celebrated Ice and Fire Collection.
Matured for 17 years predominantly in ex-bourbon oak casks, this exceptional single malt showcases Highland Park’s renowned craftsmanship, combining creamy vanilla sweetness, warming spices and the distillery’s signature gentle peat smoke.
Bottled at an impressive 53.9% ABV, with only 30,000 bottles released worldwide, this highly collectible expression delivers remarkable depth, complexity and character.
Expect captivating aromas of creamy vanilla, sweet pineapple, ripe peaches and delicate ginger, complemented by subtle heather and gentle peat smoke. The palate reveals luxurious layers of sweet vanilla, toasted oak, warming spices and rich chocolate, leading to a long, beautifully balanced finish of gentle smoke, soft citrus, delicate spice and lingering oak.
Presented in a striking ice-blue glass bottle, housed within a distinctive mountain-shaped wooden cradle inspired by the mythical frozen realms of Norse legend, Highland Park Ice Edition is a magnificent addition to any serious whisky collection.
