You can enter this competition for free by writing your full name, account email, residential address, mobile number, the name of the Draw, and the answer to any question shown (if applicable) on an unenclosed postcard or letter and posting it by first- or second-class post to: Highland Vault, 3 Castle Street, Carnegie Campus, Dunfermline, Scotland, KY11 8PB
Each entry must be sent separately (one per postcard or letter). No bulk entries, no hand delivery and no courier deliveries will be accepted.
Free postal entries must arrive by the Closing Date. They will not appear in your online account but are entered on the same basis as paid entries.
This is not simply another aged Bruichladdich.
X4+18 Edition 01 began as a daring distillery experiment: a Scotch whisky distilled four times, rather than the usual two, before being matured entirely on Islay for 18 years.
The spirit originally came off the stills at an extraordinary 85% ABV and, after nearly two decades in cask, was bottled at a formidable 63.5% ABV. Yet despite that strength, Bruichladdich describes it as refined, gentle and fruit-led, with layers of muscovado sugar, honeyed pastry, jammy fruit, dried apricot, sweet mango, spice and toasted oak.
Only 2,400 bottles of Edition 01 were released, and this is the opening expression in a four-part series planned across six years. It was distilled, matured and bottled entirely on Islay.

You may enter the competition online or for free by post by sending your entry to Highland Vault on a postcard. You must have an account on Highland Vault for your entry to be processed. All details on your entry MUST match the details on your account to receive the order confirmation and ticket number. Postal entries received without a registered account cannot be processed.
The winning ticket number will either be selected automatically by the Highland Vault competition system or drawn live and announced on our website and social media channels.
